About a 10-min. walk east in Gion / Yasaka Shrine direction from Shijo Station on the Keihan Railwa.
We are about a 3-min. taxi ride (about \640) from Shijo Kawaramachi and about an 8-min. taxi ride (about \800) from Shijo Karasuma, both major downtown intersections.Please tell your driver, "Hamasaku ryotei made (料亭 浜作まで)". This place is located two streets south of the main south torii shrine gate of Yasaka Shrine. Aya is located on the left side of the Hamasaku ryotei, about 10m up the slope street.

*Please note that the Kyoto"s streets are extremely crowded with tour buses and private cars during the high tourist season (March-May and September-November, especially on Sat., Sun. and national holidays) and it will take longer to get to us.
